Are you from the Spruce Grove area looking for a fun dinner date this weekend without having to drive all the way into the city? Well I’ve got you covered with three home-grown Spruce Grove restaurants sure to delight and impress. No matter what you prefer, Spruce Grove has something to offer everyone!
One of my family’s all-time favourite restaurants here in Spruce Grove is IT’s Sushi! IT’s Sushi specializes in Japanese and Korean flavours. The quality is absolutely top notch every time and the service is super quick and friendly. You can grab a delicious Bento Box at lunchtime or if you’re wanting to kick back and enjoy at dinner you can order from a wide assortment off of their extensive menu. They are licensed so you can complete your experience with Saki or another delicious beverage. I highly recommend!
If you’re feeling vibey and want a fun social experience with friends or your your partner I’d recommend Parlour 1919, a Speak-easy tucked away on Hwy 16A. Yes I said Speak Easy in Spruce Grove. If you’re not familiar with what a Speak Easy is, the original Speak Easy popped up during prohibition in the 1920’s so essentially they were secret bars. Parlour 1919 definitely has that feel with the moody atmosphere and the secret entrance access code to get in the door. They specialize in delicious pub fare and are a great place to grab a drink and shoot some pool on a Friday night.
Another great restaurant here in Spruce is Barbacoa. This gem is slightly off the beaten track and pleasantly surprising as you walk in to see their stylish décor. I went out with my husband last Saturday and we actually couldn’t get in, so make sure you have a reservation. That speaks to the quality of their service and food though doesn’t it? Barbacoa specializes in high end barbequed and smoked meats with a fantastic menu full of simple, locally sourced ingredients.
There’s no need to drive into to Edmonton this weekend for a dinner date now! Spruce Grove has plenty to offer right at our doorstep.
